Besides that, you will easily find out that Terence Koh is 32 yo , is living in New York, has been envolved in many areas: handmade books , zines, prints, photographs, sculptures, performances, installations. Terence has developped queer, punk, and pornographic sensibilities. Finally, in 2008, he was listed in Out magazine’s as “Out 100 People of the Year”

His personnality is so diverse that some journalists having some difficulty to understand him or classify him in their system could write in their magazine: ” Terence routinely lies in his interviews with some of the most entertaining responses …. You seem to have many personalities and identities. Asian Punk Boy, Chinese, Canadian, New Yorker, performance artist, fashion victim, visual artist, singer, the Naomi Campbell of the art world, etc”.

Exhibiting now until June 13th 2009 in Berlin’s Peres Project Gallery – Art’s badboy, Terence Koh’ depicts a 3D mirror image of his body only at two-thirds of the size with bunny ears and fully covered by 65,000 faux pearls.

The sculpture was initially presented a few feet away from the sea in Yokohama in the dark ( see the video clip – first line , last on your right – You will see Terence Koh painted head to toe in white, and wearing a loin wrapping, to lead several boys in a procession, several of which carried the wood sculpture to the seafront.
