Did a historical Jesus exist?

It is very difficult to find historical facts.

According to the rare antique sources found and most probably modified
or transcribed by clerics during Middle Age and/or Medieval Inquisition, a Jesus Christ
probably existed in the reign of Emperor Tiberius. He has preached in Palestine under
Pontius Pilate. He has been crucified and died between 26 and 36. Many faithful people despite persecution perpetuated his religious education.

Besides above historical facts , only hearsays can be gathered.

How so many people could have been cheated that way? It reminds me the bogus claims that supposedly came from many eyewitness accounts of alien extraterrestrials.

Fortunately a hard work has been carried out by many authors to offer a critical situation analysis. Now this is available to everybody.
It should help us to make our own opinion.
