Do religions really answer the Why questions?

We are used to hear: “Science can answer how questions but only religion can answer why questions”

Do religions really answer anything? Do they all give the same answer? Is there only religions to give any answer?

Yes, Religions normally deal with our past and our futur ; they normally answer questions about human history and about what happens when we are dead.

But, there are around 10 000 religions all over the world. Of course some are similar but roughtly we could say we get 10 000 different answers about the “why” questions.

And the next point is which answer is correct or which religion is right. If you are born in China, in Canada, in Japan, in India, in Middle of Africa, or whatever you will need all your life to make your decision. And let us think about previous generations with no worldwide information.
But we know that we do not proceed like that. We adopt the religion from where we live.
Who are the lucky ones? People born in Africa, Asia, Eurasia,Eurafrasia,Antarctica, Europe,Oceania, Australia, America or North America?

But which makes things easier is that our brain does not stop to work if it meets unsolved problems. See how busy we are in our day to day life. We think about above questions only from time to time. But finding answers should be our first priority to avoid getting the fatal error as a computer does.

Our brain is amazing and very well made to handle the life we cope.

We can really forget for long periods that we are going to die , that our life time is limited, that we do not know our past, that we do not know our futur.

Fortunately, when confused or embarrassed by religion answers, we should not forget that we are really built to cope with the life we have or at least up to very extreme conditions.

To some extent, we are the answer. Religions will never die out, it is part of human being? Let’s be our guru, at least to guide us. Let’s built our own religion if we need that.
