Economic crisis: toward a new deal?

Should we focuse on what we can afford : Fashion accessory?

Humanity will have to adapt to the new situation. Above picture will not be an exception. We will turn as much as we can to the No-Cloth Attitude (NCA).


Decorative items will supplement our nudity such as jewelry, gloves, handbags, hats, belts, scarves, watches, sunglasses, pins, stockings, bow tie, leg warmer, leggings, necktie, suspenders, masks, strong color water based makeup.

Fashion accessory business is ready to supply this fast growing market and to satisfy the new market needs.



Some projects have already been developped to try to reduce cloth consumption by offering for instance a trouser which could be used by two people: they call it siamese trousers. Everybody agrees to day that  it was a Good Idea but a Wrong Solution.

There will be very quickly a clear limited use. Mormons could use it as they often work in pairs. May be students as well. But who else?



Of course, we will not turn into NCA in one day. It is a long process. But it has already started for several years. It is always nice to see that some communities have been really ahead.

Do you know that we have already the no shirt day: it is for men only willing to take off their shirt in public.

Furthermore are organized on a regular basis the no pant days. Last time it was on Saturday, January 10 2009 in New York and over 20 other cities around the world. Participants in the various cities spontaneously shed their pants while riding public transportation. This was the eighth year in a row that the event (coordinated by the group Improv Everywhere) occurred in the Big Apple, and the number of pantsless people was estimated at over 1,200.

It was 3 years ago when BBC3 from UK wanted to launch the Naked Friday where we were suposed to go nude to the office. It is really time to restart the story because the day with no cloth is already celebrated by nude runners during oblation run . Oblation run is a yearly APO activity held every December 16, wherein showcases APO fraternity members roaming running nude and naked in University of the Philippines campuses.


On 02 Jul 2009, Ben Leach reported the work from David Taylor, a business psychologist, in Newcastle upon Tyne, that a Naked Friday idea would boost their team spirit.
