Male Fashion: Autumn/Winter 2010 by John Galliano

Same enjoyment as before when attending John Galliano’s male fashion shows known for their eccentricities. He is the master of the theatrical, the ruler of extravagant masculinity. Hundreds of guests Place Vendome in Paris have discovered a serie of four sections mixed in less than one quarter of an hour, surrounded by fog, flames and red lights glowing.



Sudddenly, a shadow is emerging. A model with a mustache, his pipe in the corner of his mouth, bearing the famous soft hat with the appearance of the detective of “Hound of the Baskervilles” and wearing a heavy tweed coat covered by a small clear plastic jacket.



Then several models, with smoky eyes and a determined look, Chinese warrior capes , cloakroom hunting jackets very English followed by gentlemen from London Mayfair district, with stripe three-piece suits, bowler hats, umbrellas in hand , a white carnation in his buttonhole. One of them is in white boxer molding, door-black socks , polished shoes, covered by a cloak.



Third step with an exotic and alluring show with redskins strolling shirtless, wearing a yellow boxer , red makeup on their faces and feathers on the head. Corsets with shirt and tie stuck inside, silky robes covered with dragons and flames, boxers bicolor and provocative.



Finally, the detective indulges in a sweet slumber in baggy pants, silk shorts , printed with white flowers on a black background.



Last show with Mr. Galliano, long hair disheveled, standing in the dark , legs apart and hands in pockets for long seconds before parading slowly along the walkway, with still more jets of flame, the gloved hands clasped to enjoy the applause.
